Stage 1 Ceramic Filter – Cleaning
Water contains organic and inorganic particulates such as soils, clays, sand, rust, bacteria, chemicals and other hazardous micro-organisms. The zazen ceramic filter is highly effective and removes these to a range of 0.2 to 0.5 microns (cysts and bacteria are filtered out at this level of filtration). This filter should be replaced every 12 months but will need to be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth to remove the orange/yellow residue that builds up on the outside of this white filter, which slips through other filtration processes.

Stage 2 Filter Cartridge – Cleaning & Rebalancing
The water now passes through an efficient high technology zazen filter blending 19 natural raw materials including Activated Carbon, Silver and Copper Zeolite, Ion Exchange Resin and Silver Activated Carbon Bio Balls, in the one cartridge to reduce impurities such as THMs, bacteria, colour, odours, heavy metals, pesticides and other chemicals, whilst softening the water and improving its taste and smell. The water is also energised as it passes over ionic and far infrared layers (know for centuries to assist with healing and cleansing of the body) further enhancing the energy and bioavailability properties of the water. This filter should be replaced every 6 months or 2000 litres.

Stage 3 Natural Mineral Stones – Remineralising
The zazen natural mineral stones contain a broad range of ionized minerals (calcium, magnesium, silicon, iron, sodium, potassium, phosphorous and others) essential to optimum cellular function, metabolic waste removal and toxin release. They also increase the water pH to mildly alkaline and increase the amount of dissolved available oxygen. Ionized minerals are more readily absorbed into our blood stream and cells. zazen minerals are mined 300 to 600 metres beneath the sea ensuring the highest quality. The mineral stones should be replaced every 5 years to ensure the water provides a balanced range of minerals.

Stage 4 Silver Impregnated Stones – Protecting

The silver stones should be replaced every 12 months to preserve the quality of the water in the system.

Stage 5 Magnetic Tap – Restructuring
In this final stage the water is surrounded with magnetic energy (1200 gauss) as it flows through the zazen tap. Magnetised water has a free flowing hexagonal structure in harmony with body fluids as it breaks down the size of the water clusters for faster, immediate absorption. It also helps increase the amount of oxygen (a natural antioxidant) in the water – oxygen is actually absorbed 10 x faster in water than from breathing!
